The biggest part of moving offices for me is always packing and unpacking my hundreds of books acquired over the walter benjamin unpacking my library 25 or so years. The anticipation of unpacking his library is not only caused by being reunited by the actual books but also by being able to relive the experiences associated with each book. The historical sweep of my collection, I can now see, is like a sine wave, with certain periods walter benjamin unpacking my library represented, and others still to be retrieved by the act of purchasing books.
